Long Covid

Long COVID, also recognized post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), is a wide range of symptoms that continue for weeks or months after an individual has recovered from an acute case of COVID-19. These symptoms can include fatigue, difficulty concentrating, shortness of breath, chest pain, and muscle and joint pain.
It’s not clear how long these symptoms might last. They could also lead to new conditions, such as diabetes or a heart or nervous system condition.

Post-COVID-19 syndrome appears to be more common in adults than children and teens. Althought, anyone who gets COVID-19 could have long-term effects, including people with no symptoms or mild illness with COVID-19.

If you suffer from long Covid symptoms, Joy Medical team can design an individualized diagnostic and treatment plan to help you get back to your everyday life.
